New this year will be Second Side Street Saturdays. The market will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. The annual farmers market will also take place this summer in the Main Street Parking Lot with a new date. Main Street will be closed the following dates to allow for extended outdoor seating and sidewalk sales: June 24, 25 July 29, 30 Aug. It will be considered “Lock Haven’s Last Hurrah,” Rosamilia said. Summertime will also bring with it the city’s annual Pedestrian Mall…with some new changes.ĭLH has coordinated with the city to have Main Street, from Jay to Vesper, closed during the last Friday and Saturday of the summer months. The boat parade will end near the floating stage where a concert is expected to take place. “It’s going all night long, because we are doing a parade during the day… restaurants will have tables out following the parade…then we’ll have the river boat parade,” Rosamilia said. This year, the Best of Clinton County will be held on Saturday, June 18, and will bring with it some new activities. And, due to popular demand by DLH members, another Sip and Shop will be held during the event. Rosamilia hopes to include food trucks, activities and music with the event. The event will be held Friday, May 6, in the East Main Street Parking Lot. “Cinco de Mayo is Thursday, so we’re going to continue the festivities with “Seis de Mayo Fiesta Friday,” Rosamilia said. Next up will be another new event in celebration of Cinco de Mayo. “We’ll also have the Easter Bunny and kids activities,” she said.
